Feb 6, 2026 Reflection

This week we looked at resource curation tools, and read a little bit about google classroom.

Personally, rather than the resource curation tools outlined in class, I use a combination of word docs, notes, emails, screenshots, and paper notebooks to keep track of resources that I’ve found. The main flaw of my current system is the lack of multi-device accessibility such that I need only log on to access the entire list, however I do still email myself various resources which I can access from any device. This system allows me to be present in conversations, by quickly searching and screenshooting recommendations, rather than taking the time to add the resource into an app. I also have a highly organized system of files and word documents on my computer in which I keep all my resources once I’ve sorted them from my screenshot gallery. I find this much more user friendly and accessible than having to learn new programs and potentially having to pay for accounts.

The video tutorial shared on how to use google classroom was particularly useful. I’ve also started looking at her other videos in the series on how to use GC. I found that one can make classrooms on the program without having a school account, and have started playing around with how to use the tool. I would love to have more guidance and structured practice time in this class when it comes to how to use GC.
